Why this site exists
Almost everything you find online about Procida is written by people who have never taken the 06:00 ferry. You read that the island is crowded without ever seeing a number, that the ferry costs “from 19 EUR” without being told that the official Caremar fare is 12.70, that you can bring the car without knowing that from 30 March to 15 October 2026 you cannot land it. This site exists to put that right: one island, covered properly, with the practical details that make the difference on the day itself.
What we cover
The six beaches and the four villages. The places to see, with the opening hours we manage to verify and the gaps declared. Restaurants, bars and hotels with honest judgements, including when they are negative. The dishes built around the limone pane, the festivals, the free walks, the itineraries by length and everything you need to plan the trip: ferries, buses, the best months.
How we work
We do not publish numbers we have not verified. If one source says 182 steps and another says 186, we write that it is about a hundred and eighty and we say that the sources disagree. If a beach is inconvenient or a restaurant is expensive for what it offers, it says so on the page. The details of the method are in the editorial standards.
