Hotels in Procida
A handful of stays we keep recommending, by area and budget.
The island has about ninety places to stay in all: no big hotels, plenty of houses with ten rooms. The indicative bands for a double room in a three-star or a B&B run from 80 to 180 EUR, a little less than on Ischia. The real question is not how many stars but how many stairways: above Corricella the view is unbeatable and the suitcases go up by hand. Boutique & charming
Albergo La Vigna
Rooms in a crenellated tower, each named after a wine, three thousand square metres of vineyard and a spa with vinotherapy. Walking distance from the harbour.
Hotel La Corricella
Nine rooms looking over the fishermen’s village, with an in-house restaurant and a 24-hour reception. You get there only on foot, by the steps: it is not for everybody.
Insula Boutique Hotel
Ten rooms only, an outdoor pool with a pool bar and panoramic balconies, at Piazza Olmo. From here to the Chiaia beach is about 180 steps downhill.
Hotel La Casa sul Mare
Ten rooms in an eighteenth-century noble palazzo, all with a sea view and a private terrace, above Corricella. The Procida postcard, seen from breakfast.
