Four fixtures hold up the Procidan year, and only one of them is known off the island. On Good Friday the procession carries between 40 and 60 Misteri, built from scratch every year by the young men of the confraternities. The Sagra del Mare takes up eleven days in summer. San Michele has two fixed dates, and 8 May is the more deeply felt of the two.
